A couple of years ago my husband and I decided at the last minute to go to a fundrsiser for the dance department at our son’s college. I called Barriers Ella Mlk shirt son to find out the dress code. According to him, the theme was divas and the fancier the better. I took this to mean I could pull out my beaded silk gown. It turns out the diva theme was for the dancers, not the audience. To say I was overdressed would be an understatement. Another dancer told her mother it was casual. The actual suggested dress was more like business attire — definitely not beaded gowns. I rocked that dress, though. Secondly, at 1700 calories, unless you have already damaged your metabolism, you are bound to lose a lot of weight. Most sedentary young women need 1,800–2,200 calories per day to keep their weight steady. Third, eat 2,500 calories and get moving. Walk to place, get yourself a bicycle and use it to get to farther away places, go to the beach or to the swilling pool and swim, dance (you don’t need special place to dance: meet your friends, get a loudspeaker connected to your smartphone, and dance away), make love. Just get moving. My dad is a 45-year-old covid pneumonia patient. His O2 level is 40 50 60, and he’s having difficulty breathing. His lungs were destroyed by covid. How can we take care of him, and can he fully recover? Please answer, thanks. I really need it. My bet buddy has all the same with copd, heart failure, o2 in 70’s. On oxygen and heart failure. And smokes pack plus a day. Oh and diabetes with glucose in 300’s even up to 800. Sedentary life. Eats non stop crap for the most time. No Covid though. Had vaccine. Drs we’re worried though when he had toe amputation and pneumonia. Due to weakened immune disorder. He’s doing alright now. Life expectancy shortened. He’s 74 now. There’s always supposed to be hope. Advic or suggestion. Care fir you. Laugh- don’t isolate. I have nears up years not doing anything for me. Now I have no friends or family. 88% if my time in my house. Don’t be me. Your dad will go and you can’t stop it. Peace to you!
